What Noach and I did yesterday

With apologies to Mason Williams
See them vote toters
Ain't they sumpin'.
Toten' them new voters
Toten' em in bunches.

I met mild-aged voters who had never cast a vote before. Yesterday they felt like they had a voice, coming from someone like themselves. Barack, like Martin, they were on a first name basis. PRM

Many, many, congratulations on your new president. You not only have brought new hope to your own people but also for the people of the rest of the world.
It is truly wonderful to see so many more people engaged in their own democracy.

I shed many tears of joy last night when the celebration began and I am still getting choked up today. It is an exciting time for all of us. I feel privileged to have met hundreds of folks over the past few weeks who generously spent countless hours bringing change to America. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, everyone who voted, everyone who believed, and everyone who will continue to make this country the most beautiful United States of America possible.
